276 Kyrgyzstanis Evacuated From Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Sudan, Trinidad and Tobago in 10 Months

In the first 10 months of 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with Kyrgyz diplomatic missions abroad, evacuated 276 Kyrgyz citizens, said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Almaz Imangaziev on November 14 at the Mekendeshter-2023 forum.

Kyrgyz citizens were evacuated from Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Sudan, Trinidad and Tobago.

237 citizens were repatriated from Syria in three stages (70 women, 167 children).

Imangaziev also noted that in 2022, 1,050 Kyrgyz citizens were evacuated.
