Sudan: Maximum Temperatures Continue to Rise and Light Rain in the Red Sea and Parts of Darfur

The Sudanese Meteorological Authority expected that the maximum temperatures will continue to rise throughout the country, while there will be a slight decrease in minimum temperatures in the north and north of the middle while they continue to rise in the rest of the country.

It also expected the activity of medium-speed winds that raise dust in separate parts of the north, central and west of the country and the Red Sea state.

Light rain is also expected in separate parts of the coast of the Red Sea State and the east and far south and west of Darfur.

According to the authority’s bulletin issued today, Monday, the most important weather features during the next 24 hours is the presence of the Sudan thermal depression, which covers the east and southeast of the country.

Next to a kinetic depression accompanied by a cold air front centered in the Mediterranean Sea.

And another air altitude centered in northwest Africa covering the north, middle and west of the country, while the tropical interval passes today north of Sennar, south of Gedarif, Kosti, El Obeid, north of Nyala and El Geneina.

The highest temperature recorded yesterday was 43.5 degrees Celsius in the northern city of Karima, and the lowest recorded in the western city of Rashad was 20.5 degrees Celsius.

The highest expected temperature is 43.0 degrees Celsius in the city of Karima this afternoon, and the lowest expected temperature tomorrow morning is 23.0 degrees Celsius in Port Sudan, Dongola, New Halfa, Sennar and Rashad.
