Burhan Meets the Presidents of Eritrea and South Sudan in Riyadh

According to a statement by the media of the coup sovereignty council, Burhan briefed the Eritrean president on the developments in the situation in Sudan.

Al-Burhan stressed their keenness and relentless pursuit to find solutions to this crisis through the Jeddah platform, which is sponsored by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America with the participation of the African Union and IGAD.

The statement quoted Isaias as standing and supporting his country for everything that would achieve peace and stability in Sudan and ensure its unity and security.

In the same context, Burhan met with the President of the Republic of South Sudan, Salva Kiir.

The meeting discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and develop them in all fields, in order to serve the common interests of the two peoples.

The meeting also touched on developments in Sudan, according to the statement.

Kiir stressed his keenness to achieve peace and stability in Sudan, ensure its unity and security, and his country’s support for all efforts aimed at finding a solution to the Sudanese problem.
