Russia’s Losses in War in Ukraine Exceeded 238,000 Soldiers, – General Staff

Russia’s losses in the war in Ukraine on Monday morning, July 17, amounted to 620 invaders, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 238,300 soldiers. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 23 artillery systems and 8 drones.

It is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the data of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 22 to July 17, 23 were approximately:

  • personnel – about 238300 (+620) people liquidated,
  • tanks – 4115 (+8) units,
  • armored combat vehicles – 8034 (+8) units,
  • artillery systems – 4504 (+23) units,
  • MLRS – 685 (+4) units,
  • air defense systems – 428 (+3) units,
  • aircraft – 315 units,
  • helicopters – 310 units,
  • UAV operational-tactical level – 3828 (+8),
  • cruise missiles – 1273 units,
  • ships / boats – 18 units,
  • automotive equipment and tankers – 7059 (+15) units,
  • special equipment – 677 (+11)

The situation at the front

Russia is concentrating its main efforts on the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions. The Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted 15 strikes on the areas of concentration of the personnel of the invaders. In particular, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to advance in the Bakhmut and Berdyansk directions .
